같은 학교 타악 전공 선후배로 만나 음악적 고민을 나누며 만들어진 여성 타악 앙상블 팀으로, 여성의 섬세함을 더욱 꼼꼼하고 탄탄한 짜임새로 무대 위에서 발현시켜 나가고자 한다. 관객과의 소통을 통해 사라져가는 장단을 다시 세상 위에 올려놓고, 아티스트로서의 재능과 역량을 풀고 융합하는 과정에서의 ‘합’ 그 이상의 음악을 만들고자 한다.

This group is a female percussion ensemble composed of percussion major students, who met in the same school and shared their musical struggles. Their goal is to express on stage the delicateness of women through a meticulous and solid structure. By communicating with the audience, they aim to bring the disappearing rhythm and beats of Korea back to the world and create music beyond the combination of talent and capacity as artists in the process of expressing and merging it.

2019년에 처음으로 선보인 ‘살’이라는 곡을 재편곡하여 새로운 곡으로 재탄생시켰다. 넘실대는 도당굿의 가락을 활용하여 즐거움에 초점을 맞춰 달관하여 놓아준다는 ‘놓음’을 바탕으로 뿌리고 흩는 ‘살’을 표현했다. 이번 곡에서는 플라멩코 기타가 함께 연주된다. 플라멩코는 노래와 춤, 기타의 음악적인 기교가 융합된 스페인의 민속예술로 안달루시아 지방에서 유래하여 지금까지 전해져오고 있다. 플라멩코 기타에서만 표현되는 타악기적인 요소와 장구에서 찾아낸 의외의 울림에 집중해본다.

This piece is a rendition of a new arrangement of "SAL,” a composition that was first released in 2019. Incorporating dodanggut’s wavy rhythms, the scattering nature of "SAL” is expressed by focusing on the pleasure of "letting go” and being unbound by worldly matters. Flamenco guitar is a part of this new accompaniment. Flamenco is a Spanish folk art form that originated from Andalusia, Spain, which integrates song, dance, and guitar performance with musical techniques and has been passed down to the present day. This piece focuses on a percussive element that can only be rendered through the use of flamenco guitar and the unexpected resonance of Janggu.
